Here at Longtree Tree Service, we know that regular tree trimming is quite possibly the best thing you can do to encourage your trees to stay healthy for the long haul and look great.
Pruning, whether you’re nurturing a newly planted tree or shaping mature trees, ensures healthy growth and prevents overcrowding and, disease, and rot. It’s not just about cutting, though. It’s about cutting where, how, and why. One miscalculation can lead to branches splitting, infestations by rodents and insects, or even irreparable damage.
It is for this reason that our team takes every trim seriously. Our tree care specialists are trained to make careful, precise cuts that improve air flow, encourage healthy development, and maintain the tree’s natural shape. We also use the right equipment and safety equipment to ensure your trees—and your property—are treated with extreme care.
Your tree is our number-one priority, and we do not cut unless it is truly for the health of the tree or for safety on your property. If it’s to take down a threatening limb or to take down a tree that has become a hazard to your home, our focus is to protect what is important to you—your family, your home, and your landscape.
We know that every tree is unique. That’s why we start every job with a detailed inspection of the tree’s condition, what’s surrounding it, and your specific concerns. From there, we create a plan that’s safety-focused, tree health-conscious, and long-term effective.
When you hire Longtree for professional tree cutting services, you can sleep soundly knowing you’ve made a decision that focuses on precision, safety, and care. We come equipped with the right gear, specialized expertise, and a commitment to doing it right the first time.
If your tree is diseased, dead, or too close to your home, it may need to be removed. It is not easy to say goodbye to a tree, but to let it stand can be unsafe—to your property, your family and friends, and even your neighbors. Branches that fall, weakened roots, and wind stress can turn a mature tree into a true hazard.
Tree removal is not merely cutting down a tree. It is a highly technical and sometimes dangerous endeavor that requires training, equipment, and decades of experience. One wrong step and you can destroy your house, your vehicles, or worst of all—injure someone. That is why this is not a do-it-yourself job or to be entrusted to anyone with a chain saw.
When you hire our team, you’re not just hiring a tree remover—you’re hiring a sense of safety. We’re properly insured and licensed and trained in best practices for safety and ready to take on anything from tight spaces to emergency removals. From a large oak tree leaning on your roof to a rotten stump in your yard, we do it all with care to leave you with a clean, safe, and efficient removal—every time.
You can trust that your property is in good hands. We’ll handle the heavy work for you while you can focus on what matters most—your home, your safety, and your peace of mind.
Tree cabling is done to support the structure of an old tree while bracing is done to support tree branches that lean or split. Both are done for old tree maintenance. If you see your tree splitting or experiencing structural issues, get in touch with us and we will assess your case. We can tell you whether your tree needs cabling and bracing and if it does, we will do it correctly. With our years of experience, we know what methods to use to save your tree and protect you and your loved ones from harm it can do. Get in touch with us today and let us assess your tree and give it the right treatment it deserves.
Your trees are a great asset to your property, offering shade, curb appeal, and even serenity. That said, when a tree has grown too large for its space or has branches that are too long, it can become a danger to safety, block sunlight, or even encroach on your house. That is where tree crowning by a skilled individual comes in.
Tree crowning or reduction is a skilled type of cutting that reduces a tree’s size without compromising its natural shape and health. This is not a job for anyone with a chain saw, though. Done improperly—by anyone who is not qualified to do it—this can lead to “topping,” a harmful practice that weakens a tree, makes it more prone to disease, and can shorten its lifespan.
Our trained tree professionals at Longtree Tree Service utilize proper reduction techniques to selectively remove branches in a way that promotes healthy regrowth, reduces stress on the tree, and reinforces its structure. If your tree is too close to power lines, blocking a scenic view, or simply in need of shaping for better aesthetics, we ensure that it is done safely, correctly, and with respect for your tree’s long-term health.
Don’t put your tree in danger—leave it to our professionals to do it right. Contact us today for a free consultation or
rees are one of nature’s greatest gifts. They bring shade, beauty, cleaner air, and a sense of calm that’s hard to replace. Life without trees wouldn’t just be dull—it would be unimaginable. On top of that, they boost your property’s value and create a more inviting, peaceful space to call home.
At Longtree Tree Service, we’re truly passionate about trees. Whether you’re looking to add shade to your backyard, enhance your curb appeal, or simply bring more life to your landscape, we’re here to help you plant the right trees in the right places.
Our experienced arborists understand exactly what each tree species needs to grow strong and healthy. We take the time to assess your soil, space, and goals so your trees don’t just survive—they thrive.
If you’re thinking about adding new trees to your yard, let’s talk. We’d love to help you make your property greener, healthier, and more beautiful—one tree at a time
When it comes to keeping your trees healthy and looking their best, regular pruning is essential. Proper pruning encourages strong growth, removes dead or hazardous limbs, and enhances the natural beauty of your trees. But it’s not just about cutting branches—it’s about knowing how, when, and where to make the right cuts to support the tree’s long-term health.
At Longtree Tree Service, we follow the strict standards set by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) to ensure every pruning job is done with precision and care. Our team understands tree biology, and we only make cuts that benefit your tree—not harm it.
With years of experience and a reputation for delivering quality, consistent results, we’re proud to be the trusted choice for tree pruning in the area. When you work with us, you can feel confident knowing your trees are in the hands of knowledgeable professionals who truly care.
Have an old tree stump that is detracting from your yard’s look or blocking your space? Stump removal through stump grinding is the optimal and least costly way to do it—and we can make it simple for you.
Not only are tree stumps ugly—they are also a nuisance. They take up space, provide a tripping hazard, attract rodents and insects, and make lawn care difficult. That’s why having them removed is more than a cosmetic choice—it’s a practical and sensible choice.
At Longtree Tree Service have the equipment and qualified staff to safely and efficiently grind stumps. Our experts can handle stumps of any size and age and anywhere on your property. We will do it neatly and leave your yard smooth and safe and ready for your next activity.
Unlike stump grinding, which only removes the top part of the stump, stump removal is a more complex operation that eliminates the entire stump and root system. This is typically done for construction projects, landscape renovations, or any situation in which there is a requirement for a clean and solid foundation.
Because of tree roots’ deep and widespread extent, stump removal is best accomplished with specialized equipment and expertise. It is not a do-it-yourself job—without a correct methodology, it can cause unnecessary disruption and leave a mess and potential destruction of property.
We have the equipment and know-how to safely and efficiently remove stumps with minimal interference to your property. If you are going to construct a new building, redevelop your landscape, or just need to eliminate a stubborn stump for good, we can get the job done right.
No one expects a tree emergency—but when it happens, you’re going to need a crew you can trust. Storms, windstorms, soil erosion, and tree sudden failure can create hazardous situations in a matter of seconds. And when Mother Nature strikes, your family and property safety is your first and top priority.
We’re there for you when you need us. Our team is prompt to arrive on emergency calls because you need to get back to normal and your sense of calm restored as soon as possible. If it’s a tree that fell across your driveway during a storm, a limb that is hanging over your house, or unexpected storm damage to your property, we arrive quickly, assess what needs to be done and do it to safeguard your property.
We’ve built our reputation on reliability, prompt response times, and quality service, and we’re homeowners’ first choice for when the unexpected strikes. Rain or shine, day or night—you can rely on us to be there when it matters.
