Few things are as satisfying as watching your trees grow larger each year.
But eventually, many trees will begin to outgrow the space available, causing maintenance headaches or even safety risks. For example, overgrown trees can disrupt sightlines, make portions of your property inaccessible, or cast too much shade on your landscape.
Fortunately, by having your trees trimmed regularly, you can minimize these problems while continuing to enjoy all of the benefits your trees provide.
Your trees will look better, and you’ll once again be able to enjoy your property fully. Trimming may even improve your home’s curb appeal, which will help boost your property’s overall value.
But to ensure good results, it’s important to rely on a tree-trimming team that has the tools, skill, and expertise to get the job done correctly — like the arboricultural experts at Longtree Tree Service.
Our tree-care experts will be happy to provide the tree trimming services you need to prevent conflicts and keep your trees looking their best.
Your tree is our number-one priority, and we do not cut unless it is truly for the health of the tree or for safety on your property.
Whether we need to remove a threatening limb or fell a tree that may fall on your home, we focus on protecting the things important to you, including your family, your home, and your landscape.
And because every tree is unique, we start every job with a detailed inspection of the tree’s condition, the surrounding area, and your specific concerns.
From there, we create a plan that’s safety-focused, tree health-conscious, and likely to be effective over the long-term.
When you rely on Longtree Tree Service, you can sleep soundly knowing you’ve made a decision that focuses on precision, safety, and care. We come equipped with the proper equipment and expertise, as well as a commitment to doing it right the first time.
Healthy trees provide a number of important benefits to homeowners and property managers.
They provide shade in the summer, block bone-chilling winds in the winter, and provide resources for wildlife all year long. Plus, healthy trees are beautiful additions to any property, which not only provide aesthetic value but also raise your property value.
But unfortunately, some trees can become unhealthy or dangerous, and all trees eventually die. In these cases, it is often wise to have them removed before they can cause property damage, injuries, or worse.
In these cases, it’s critical that you work with a professional tree-care team, who has the expertise and equipment to remove the tree safely.
That’s exactly what you get when you rely on Longtree Tree Service. We understand the risks involved with tree removal and always conduct removals in accordance with the industry’s best practices.
We’ll begin with a detailed inspection of the tree and surrounding area, before leveraging our crew’s skill and industry-leading equipment to remove the tree in “zero-impact” fashion, to ensure your property looks as good when we leave as it did when we arrived.
Trees can suffer from a variety of different problems, ranging from foliar diseases to root damage to internal decay. Some of these issues will necessitate the removal of the entire tree, but others can be addressed by providing the tree with additional support.
For example, the Longtree Tree Service team can use cabling or bracing techniques to help strengthen weak branch junctions or reduce the risks presented by trees with poor form.
Cabling is a technique in which steel cables or high-strength ropes are used to connect two branches arising from the same junction. This helps to limit branch movement during high winds and reduce the chances of the junction splitting.
Bracing achieves a similar goal, though it relies on sturdy steel bars, which are inserted through the branch junction.
It’s important to understand that cabling and bracing are advanced tree-care techniques, and many service providers are unable to employ these techniques safely.
But you don’t have to worry about that when you rely on Longtree Tree Service — we’ve been providing these services since 2019 and have the expertise needed to carry out these techniques properly.
Regular pruning is one of the most important steps needed to keep your trees healthy, but it is unfortunately something that many homeowners and property managers forget to prioritize.
Like tree trimming, tree pruning can help keep your trees a manageable size. However, it also provides a number of other benefits and can help you achieve other goals.
In fact, there are actually several different types of pruning that arborists can conduct. Vista pruning, for example, involves the skillful and selective removal of branches with the intention of opening up sightlines to the surrounding area.
Other types of pruning include crown cleaning, which involves the removal of dead or damaged branches from the canopy, crown thinning, which is intended to improve airflow through the canopy, and crown reductions, which reduce the size of a canopy, while supporting the ongoing health of the tree.
Just be sure that you always hire a tree-care team led by an ISA-certified arborist — like Longtree Tree Service — whenever having your trees pruned. This is the only way to ensure your trees will remain healthy and that you’ll enjoy the kind of results you deserve.
Whether found on a residential or commercial property, tree stumps are always unsightly.
They can even make your landscape look neglected, reducing both curb appeal and overall property value. They also prevent you from using the area for other, more beneficial purposes, such as replacing the tree or installing other landscape features.
But stumps present even more important issues, as they are also bona fide safety hazards, which present a number of risks.
For example, tree stumps (and the roots radiating from them) are serious trip hazards that endanger residents, visitors, and even lawn maintenance workers. They can also harbor rodents, snakes, and stinging insects.
Fortunately, you can avoid all of these problems by simply letting the Longtree Tree Service team grind these stumps down. Using commercial-grade stump grinders, our skilled crew members can quickly and efficiently grind the stump down several inches below grade, while eliminating surface roots in the area too.
No matter how large your stumps are or how many you have, we’ll be happy to eliminate these eyesores and restore your property to pristine condition.
While stump grinding is often the default choice for property owners, it isn’t the only way the Longtree Tree Service team can help eliminate stumps for you — we can also physically remove the entire stump and connecting root system.
Though this service is considerably more complex than having stumps grinded, it provides additional benefits that make it preferable in some situations. For example, it’s commonly done to prepare for construction projects or when large portions of a landscape are being renovated.
Just understand that tree stump removal is a significant undertaking; it’s neither a DIY project nor something that should be left to a cut-rate service provider.
You need a team of true experts to conduct this kind of work, such as the professionals at Longtree Tree Service. Our team will employ specialized equipment and a steadfast commitment to safety and property protection while removing the stumps on your property.
This will help ensure that we not only eliminate the stump and root system properly but also prevent injuries or property damage from occurring during the process.
Tree-related problems don’t always happen at convenient times.

But Longtree Tree Service is ready to help when you need it most. We proudly offer emergency tree-care services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Simply pick up the phone or fill out our contact form, and we’ll get the process started. We’ll dispatch a team of emergency-response specialists to your location, where they’ll carefully assess the situation and start carrying out the emergency tree services you need.
