✅ Job Requirements – Ground Crew
We’re looking for individuals who are hardworking, dependable, and ready to grow within a team. You don’t need to know everything about tree work on Day One—but you do need to bring a strong work ethic, a teachable mindset, and respect for the safety and professionalism this industry demands.
Must-Haves:
- CDL Certification (Class A with manual endorsement required)
- Truck Driving and experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable commute to/from job sites
- Physically fit (lifting 50+ lbs, working outdoors full-time)
- Dependable—consistently punctual with a positive “can-do” attitude
- Coachable—open to training and feedback
- Team-first attitude and professional demeanor on every jobsite
- Pass a Background Check
Bonus Points (Preferred but not required):
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience with chippers, chainsaws, stump grinders
Safety certifications (First Aid/CPR)

🌱 Daily Operations
- Safely drive/operate Longtree vehicles and equipment
- Set up job sites, assist crew leads and arborists with tasks
- Help maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Attend pre-job briefings and represent the company with professionalism
🔐 Safety & Site Awareness
- Adhere to all local and company safety protocols
- Participate in daily hazard assessments and safety briefings
- Maintain all tools and equipment in safe, working condition
- Wear all required PPE (steel-toe boots, hard hats, etc.) at all times
📲 Communication & Documentation
Attend any required trainings or team meetings
Log work hours accurately
Complete safety and job documentation (JSA forms, assessments)
Direct client questions to supervisors professionally
