In today’s world there are a lot of companies out there that have sort of a Jekyll and Hyde business approach . The first interaction seems to be a good one only to find out once they have your business any further interactions aren’t at the same level. Well this is certainly NOT the case with Longtree. Had the largest tree in the neighborhood taken down. The work needed the best people and best equipment to do safely. If not done safely a home could have been heavily damaged and people could have been hurt. The guys, led by Ben, were excellent. Ben brought a large group of workers who all had their assigned jobs and worked constantly, very nice. The equipment was incredible. I had never seen a boom truck that large doing tree work. The boom truck didn't even have to leave the road and the grinder was ridiculous.

Longtree did an outstanding job! Kyle, came out personally to inspect our property. One large limb of one of our trees had been struck by lightning, and we initially thought we only needed that portion removed. After carefully inspecting the tree, Kyle recommended taking the entire tree down because it was unhealthy and could potentially fall on our house. I was hesitant because it was such a large, prominent tree on our property, but I’m so glad I listened to him. Once they started removing it, we discovered the tree was hollowed out in many areas and much more compromised than we realized. There was even a raccoon living inside, and Ben and his crew handled it with such care so the raccoon would not be harmed. We couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Kyle, Ben, and the crew were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly careful and kind. This was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a tree service company. The owner came to our home and suggested a couple of solutions to a years-long problem with a white Maple tree in our backyard. His team later filled a large hole created by a fallen limb and trimmed the tree. Everyone was courteous, professional and cleaned up the yard completely. Working with Kyle has been a true pleasure from the very first phone call. Jane was very warm and helpful from the get-go. She set up the first appointment for us. We had Kyle out to take a look at our property and assess our trees. From the beginning, his knowledge and expertise was astonishing and refreshing! There was ZERO pressure to do any work, but by the time he left, we knew Longtree would be our “tree people.” Today the crew came over to remove a large troublesome limb that was encroaching on one of our tall spruces, as well as removing an overgrown mulberry tree. Additionally, we began insecticide and fungicide injections for the multiple spruces we have. The crew chief Ben, got to our house early, which I loved. I walked with Ben to both areas that needed the work, and we had a detailed conversation about what was going on with both trees. Tyler, the “tree doctor” was also early, and got to work right away with the injections. While he was roped in, one of Ben’s crew members, Flavio, even pulled down ivy that had grown all the way up to the top of our spruce! The guys finished the job efficiently and their crew left our yard looking immaculate. I’m actually looking forward to having them come out to do the rest of the work Kyle and I had spoken about on his first visit to our home. This is a company that I feel genuinely cares about the health of trees, and respects the investment my husband and I have made an ensuring their longevity. My research lead me to Longtree Tree Services in Southeast Michigan their ad states they are certified Arborists. Simply put they are tree doctors and tree surgeons. That impressed me. I gave them a call set up an appointment for a consultation. Kyle and Stephanie came as scheduled. I learned Kyle is the owner not a salesman. They have been in business for 7 years. He examined our trees and gave us two written contracts. The tree in the back yard Kyle suggested we wait until the winter. The work on the tree in the front yard was done in excellent. They were a little late but it takes time to remove a tree. Those guys are good. They cleaned up and removed every branch. If you need a company founded on truth, integrity and fairness give them a call you wont regret it. I give this company 5 gold stars. I am very pleased with the service received. We have been using Longtree for our tree service needs for several years and will continue to do so. Mainly because they provide honest, exceptional service at a reasonable price. We have a few older, delicate white pines that are on a maintenance schedule for trunk injections to stave off an infection that was slowly killing them. Not only did it stop the progression of the problem but the trees seem to have rebounded and look better than they have in years! Most recently they were out to chip some downed limbs and as always worked swiftly and cleaned up as if they were never there. Highly recommend!

After getting several estimates to have some tree trimming work. We decided to go with Longtree. They weren't the cheapest estimate. However, I really liked Kyle and the fact that he was a certified arborist. He took the time to talk about trimming to maintain the health and integrity of the trees. He even sent out addtional information, and a video that I could show to my neighbor, which supported why she needs to get rid of the dying Black Locus Tree that is on my fence line, falling on my house and in my yard. Along with the Locus, an Elm Tree hanging over my house that I've been trimming for thirty years. She won't even go half....forgive me I digress. I like that they were licensed and insuranced, too. Jane handled the appointment promptly and professionally. When there was rain on the original scheduled date, Jane quickly rescheduled us to the earliest date. Rafael and the crew came out to do the job. I must admit there was a slight misunderstanding about the scope of the job. Rafael was patient and professional. I spoke with Kyle over the phone, and again, very professional. It was minor and quickly resolved. That's what you want when clarification and understanding need to be made. You should want a happy and satisfied customer. Rafael made sure that I'd be one of them. I can say that my husband and I are satisfied customers. Great job, Longtree! I would definitely recommend this company. I had gotten a qoute and there ended up being some confusion the day of service. The foreman ended up calling the person who did the qoute who then honored the original price despite there being more work than expected. Work was done quickly and to expectations. This company is amazing. They came out and gave me an excellent, detailed quote right away and then came out and did the work a few days later. I have six very big oaks witch had large dead limbs that were high up, several of which were and hanging dangerously over my house. Longtree skillfully removed all of the problem limbs as well as several others that I was not aware of. They really went above and beyond. They worked safely and efficiently using the bucket truck. Longtree removed two large (35 ft) spruce trees, two Alberta Spruce trees, and an ornamental maple cluster from my front yard, and trimmed a 20 ft arborvitae cluster from my side yard next to my deck. They accomplished this in under two hours including clean up. Because it was raining when they removed the trees and the ground was pretty soft, they opted to do the stump grinding the next day when they were able to bring in a crew and plywood to protect the lawn when bringing the stump grinding equipment up to the stumps. Their quoting, scheduling, and work was first class. I can't say enough about how this job was accomplished. I highly recommend them.
